The project partners of SocialRES have announced the new episode of the webinar-series, Lunch@SocialRES. One of our colleagues, Jung Lin, will be the main speaker in this event.
The climate crisis has become the most inevitable challenge for all countries around the world. COP26, the UN climate conference which took place last year in Glasgow, has the highest participation rate in COP´s history despite the global pandemic. The world was expecting a more ambitious global energy transition to achieve the 1.5-degree-goal.
What happened in COP26 in terms of energy sector? What were the key results? How will they impact the global energy transition and social innovation in the energy fields?
In this webinar, Jung Lin will share her experience as an NGO-observer in COP26. She will cover the key outcomes regarding the energy sector in Glasgow Climate Pact and other multilateral/bilateral agreements. Their implications for the social innovation in the energy sector will be the main focus of this webinar.
This webinar is part of the SocialRES project, which is a research and innovation project funded by the European Union. Its aim is to foster energy democracy through social innovation and the active collaboration between cooperatives, aggregators of renewable energy and crowdfunding platforms.
