With a donation you are supporting the non-profit projects and activities of the Lake Constance Foundation and therefore, a sustainable development in the Lake Constance area, Germany and Europe.
Since 1994 we have shown with pilot projects that a sustainable development is possible.
Worked in over 40 projects with a budget of 35 million euro. Hereof, 8.2 million euro were invested in the Lake Constance Region.
We use donations and project funding responsibly and transparently; 88 % are used for project implementation, 12 % for overhead costs.
Our projects and activities are relevant, innovative and practice-oriented.
Instruments to help businesses and farmers become more climate and biodiversity friendly.
Our finances are audited yearly by an independent auditor.
We work together with representatives from business, municipalities and regional authorities, scientific institutes and environmental organisations.
Introduced environmental issues into strategies and politics on regional and European level.
Your donation helps us to reach the required own contribution of projects. Without this own contribution, projects are not approved.
We evaluate regularly our project results; we learn from our mistakes.
Developed innovative and sustainable products, such as the Lake Constance solar boat fleet and the first organic farmer´s market in Radolfzell and Constance.
We see the bigger picture, work with a long-term perspective and we keep up the work even when it becomes difficult.
Recognised as competent partner in the Lake Constance area and by national and European initiatives.

a biodiverse flora and fauna in agriculture, on company premises and in public green areas.
an efficient and sustainable energy supply in the field of heating systems, community energy, sustainable biogas, photovoltaic and environmental education.
to climate protection and climate adaptation in agriculture.
