Submit applications and start projects – Interreg Europe supports energy transition
The Ministry of Economic Affairs in Baden-Württemberg will inform on the 23rd of February, 2022, starting at 10 a.m., about the upcoming Interreg Europe program periode. The program promotes strategic collaborations between regional policy actors across Europe in key topics such as innovation, SME competitiveness, resource efficiency and the promotion of a low-emission economy.
The Lake Constance Foundation will also be participating and will present the COALESCCE project. Volker Kromrey, deputy managing director of the Lake Constance Foundation, will report on the involvement of citizens in energy transition projects and how, with the help of interreg funding, the topic of citizen energy was successfully incorporated in the updated version of the “Integrated Energy and Climate Protection Concept (IEKK)” of the state of Baden-Württemberg.
The event is for interested stakeholders from Baden-Württemberg (e.g. economic policy institutions, non-governmental organizations, regional and municipal stakeholders) who would like to learn more about the Interreg Europe program of the current funding period 2021 – 2027 and are interested in applying for a project themselves or becoming a partner in a consortium.
More information about the registration and the program can be found here (only in German).
